she was a rose
they were in love
always posed
he was insecure
she could pass any test
he tried very hard
but never did his best
she danced in circles
he didn’t know how
he stood still
she wanted to live now
one day a bluebell
passed her way
true love blossomed
that very day
rose sadly said
goodbye to dandelion
thinking someday
a partner he would find
dandelion withered
and he died
sadly for him
he never tried
