THE ELEVATOR

they waited by the elevator
glances were shared
she looked at him carefully
as she touched her hair
her hair was jet black
with cinammon skin
he couldn’t believe
she winked at him
he started to get nervous
and really wasn’t sure
as they walked in the elevator
through the open door
she had a deep voice
and said “please press three”
his hand shook
and so did his knees
the elevator climbed slowly
they were all alone
she asked him his name
and he said “Rob Barone”
she said my name is “Rose”
i’ve been very lonely of late
that was his opening
he asked her for a date
she said press “stop
i want to be alone with you”
he said “my dear..
anything for you”
she put her arms around him
he started to sweat
and then something happened
and he said “oh.. no..not yet”

    Love Your Poem, Sally Omar.
    .
    you are not red
    your lips, tongue, blood, are,
and I bet, not bred, is,
    a passion to just bite
    the apple, red,
    the juices dripping:
there, now, to be dried (kissed)
    and say, hello!
    .

    .
    just thought I espied a safe space;
    saw, as well, two semetrical
    petal blobs situated, and
arranged as wo cheeks, as yu kiss.
    .
truely, did the two bits of poem
oust, sound; spit out instead of flu,
as well as this third one to you
