again!!

never walking
slipping and sliding
don’t want to be found
i’m just hiding
walking in darkness
don’t want to be found
shhhhhh, no noise
i heard a sound
he waits for me
in the light of day
waiting to grab me
and take me away
he doesn’t love me
just wants a slave
but i keep hiding
for i am not brave
i won’t fight anymore
won’t yell and scream
he’ll never change
no more bad dreams
slipping and sliding
i’m so afraid
for loving him
i have paid
he threatens me
with his terrible looks
he reaches out
with his “hooks”
i’d rather hide
for the rest of my life
than be his slave
i’m not his wife
save me now stranger
i’ll come home with you
perhaps you can make me happy
for i am so blue

Oh Sallly , you describe this torture so well through your writing.! I know of someone, who lived this nightmare and she loved her man ! I was only a little girl ,when I heard my parents discussing this situation, a relative , and young as I was, I recall ,the disbelief, at that lovely man, being so cruel ! Jane :))

Oh what a heart-wrenching piece Sally. Such awful pain you have portrayed – I hope it is not you. However, this is beautifully written and your writing talent shows. Jane’s comment above is right – this is a nightmare – don’t tollerate it. Paul
