Has he traveled
Many secrets
He’s unraveled
Many spirits
Has he heard
Carefully listening
Word by word
Drums beating
Beating
Fire burning
Healing, heating
The dance begins
He appears
Eyes look down, In respect
as he nears
The Medicine Man
Incense, sweet grass, cedar and sage
For those ills
Of mental rage
There is a chant
Laying on of hands
Special herbs
From The Medicine Man
Fires burn higher
Drums beat louder
He stands there
In the shadows
Drums beat
Hearts pound
Voices of spirits
Continue to resound
The deed is done
A life is in his hands
He will not fail
He is, THE MEDICINE MAN!
