Sad for the fights
No one will ever win
Man against man
Prejudice and hate
Love foresaken
And God waits
His tears fall like raindrops
From the sky
Why when God is so good
Do we make Him cry?
He gives us beauty
And yet we destroy
Instead of appreciation
And instead of joy
Wildlife is threatened
For sport and with guns
God cries for each
And every one
Soon there will be the extinction
Of man and of beast
Why can we not see
There should be peace
Man destroyed the forests
Brought down the trees
Started wars
Brought children to their knees
God looks down
And shakes his head
For all that is living
And soon will be dead
See God’s tears
And understand
The future lies
In all of our hands
