No one could look
It was too personal
HER LITTLE RED BOOK
They saw her quietly
Sit down and write
Sometimes in the day
But all through the night
The blinds would be drawn
No one around
Sometimes she’d weep
A really weird sound
What was she writing
What did it mean
She was so sure-fired
Like a machine
They got a peek
The letters were straight
It drove them crazy
They couldn’t wait
She carried her book
Into her bed
No one could touch it
The cover so red
She wrote about life
And her predictions
About love
And it’s addictions
She wrote about God
And wrote about hell
Wrote about things
People don’t tell
One day they begged
To just take a peek
She warned them all
It was a secret to keep
She read aloud
The words that she wrote
Some words made them shiver
They needed a coat
As she continued
And read each phrase
Her words so beautiful
They were amazed
She told her children
It’s time to say goodnight
Kissed them gently
And turned out the light
She wrote when she was alone
The words in heart and in her head
She found it difficult
To sleep in her bed
Her mind was a maze
Of words she heard
And sounds she loved
Like the song of a bird
She will go on writing
Till she is old
She feels the words

Beautiful Sally…..... I keep a journal, was daaily writing, now when I need to. Mainly a bitch book. Helps me keep an eye on my pschi. I just have to look at the hand writing to know the state of mind I was in..
