SALVATION

SALVATION belongs to the following groups:

Complex Simplicity of Art, Living Christianity and WMG

I think about Salvation
And the possible poliferation
Of all that does exist
It can be as quick as a kiss
With all the wars
And Armies that fight
Nothing ever seems
Just quite right
Prejudice and racism
And all that goes along with hate
Seems to go against all good
How can anyone equate
Good and evil
It seems that people don’t value
Life as much as they should
How can there be so much hate
Where there should be good
Iraq is a travesty
Darfur breaks my heart
Where are we going
Perhaps we need a new start
How can we as mere mortals
Change a world with such confusion
We are walking around
Actually living in delusion
When will the changes be made
That will keep us from always be at odds
When will we leap the boundaries
And jump those millions of yards
Let us love our neighbor
No matter what his race may be
Perhaps then dear brothers and sisters
We will all be able to see
There is no real difference
Whatever your religion or race
If we go back a step
We will be able to trace
Our original origin
All coming from Him above
Perhaps it is time
To extend our hand in love

    Reminds me of Revelation:
Re 6:9: ΒΆ And when he had opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the
souls of them that were slain for the word of God, and for the testimony
    which they held:

Re 6:10: And they cried with a loud voice, saying, How long, O Lord, holy and
true, dost thou not judge and avenge our blood on them that dwell on the earth?

Re 6:11: And white robes were given unto every one of them; and it was said unto them, that they should rest yet for a little season, until their fellowservants also and their brethren, that should be killed as they were, should be fulfilled.

It would be wonderful if man could bring it about, but it is a job only God can do. Therefore we cry out, “How long, oh Lord” until you bring us the peace, the rightious kingdom, the wonder of your rule which is love, mercy and justice without discrimination.
