She stands on the bridge
With tears in her eyes
Thinking of her life
And trying to realize
How she can gain happiness
And how she can smile
Find true love
For just awhile
She looks over the river
At the beautiful view
Sighing at the magnificence
And knowing what to do
Thinking about what is best
She’ll put aside all her fears
Gain momentum
Forget problems she’s had over the years
And she will take a hold of her life
Find a true love
And perhaps be a wife
If her life does not turn out that way
She’ll take her chance
At being a lover anyway
Her tears turn to a bright smile
Knowing now what she should do
Standing on the bridge
Having a reflective view
