Calming Corner where I sit
I can think and I can knit
It is so wonderful to rest
I love this corner the best
With my cats at my feet
I feel very elite
In my Calming Corner I am free
No one here to bother me
To just think about the past
Hoping memories will last
All the fun I had
And my wonderful Mom & Dad
Remembering as a child
How many times I was wild
When I was a teen
How cool things had been
All my friends that have come and gone
Of them I am so fond
So I’ll sit here for awhile
Thinking back and I’ll smile
