A little Cherub got his wings today
I saw him pass by my way
His face as beautiful as it could be
And he looked directly down at me
I smiled as he passed and yet I cried
Wondering if this was a little baby who died
And this day got his Cherub wings
I thought I heard the angels’ sing
I loved this Cherub more than you could know
For me he put on a cloud show
It is because he was so full of love
The Creator took him to Heaven above
So every evening I’ll check the GLOWING CLOUDS
To see the little Cherub who made me so proud
That he was kind enough to look down at me
When on earth there is so much more to see
