Woodstock Rights Infringement
I received an email from Zazzle yesterday saying they are removing the products I have created using my ‘Woodstock is 40’ design….this is what the email said:
‘Your product was removed because it contained content in violation of Woodstock’s intellectual property rights.’
I don’t even really know what that means….I asked them to clarify, but all I got was a generic reply…. I certainly do not want to cross any lines of infringment, so I am removing the tee design from RB as well.
I created this design on my own and it was never my intention to ‘infringe’ on anyone’s rights….

Oh, I hate such things.
I am always a bit afraid of things like that ‘cause it happens so often lately.
Everyone seems to “violate” rights – but our photos are still happily used by other sites. :-(
Sometimes I am even too afraid to create a tee ‘cause you never know behind what corner someone lurks claiming you violated something, not wanting to know that you created it all alone.

this was a total surprise to me….i would never steal anyone’s art….how silly….i personally think it is a bit riduculous, but hey, what can ya do? thanks for taking time to read and comment, maureen…

I emailed them and asked for some kind of detail on how this violates, what part of it, etc…..and all i got was the same generic message in return…oh well….in the big picture of things, i suppose this is not really something to spend energy being upset over….thanks, my friend….

That really bites.. and not getting a proper answer even more.. seems like terri has the answer for you, but the people behind Zazzle should have taken the time to explain it to you..
You have more then enough other wonderfull tee’s and do not need to make a fuss over it.. but each creation deserves to be treated with more respect.

its because of the woodstock word hun! remove that or alter the spelling and you’ll be fine :) i know here unless we have permission we can’t photograph company names, logo’s etc.I’m currently waiting permission to photograph the spitz sunflower fields.
