Heha'ka Wa

‘Heha’ka Wa’ is ‘Snow Elk’ in Lakota. This sweet Cow Elk is in our yard at the moment digging with her hooves trying to uncover any sprigs of grass she can find….in this shot, she was listening with one ear to a another one who was coming up the street in front of our house….elk radar…. :-)

swivel ears .. elk radar LOL … yuppers .. we get deer in our yard too but never during the day … we had a brush pile from all the broken limbs earlier this winter and they slept next to it …

she’s a cutie .. little miss bright eyes (big smile)
