A Beautiful Mom
Today being Mother’s Day, I would like to pay tribute to one of the most beautiful Moms I know….my niece, Sarah, who lives in Texas and had her first baby this past October….Savannah Brie Stallings.
I was there when Sarah was born, and we have always been extremely close. I moved to Colorado when she was only 2, fearing that our bond would fade, but it never has. I have seen her move through childhood, her teenage years, and now into adulthood.
I am so proud of the person she is….compassionate, loving, creative, kind-hearted, strong, gentle, smart, funny….. At the young age of 23, she has balanced a year of transitions…..getting married….having a baby….all the while working a full time job and going to college….and she has handled it beautifully.
Yesterday, Sarah graduated from Jr. College. She is studying and passionate about photography and graphic arts….and she has a gift for both. We have always known that Sarah was born to be a Mom….and now she is….Savannah is so blessed to have Sarah to care for her and love her with all her being.
This picture was taken when Savannah was about 2 weeks old. She is now 7 months old….ahhhh…..the Circle of Life continues….
