Before The Butterfly

Before The Butterfly belongs to the following groups:

All Things Poetic, Artistic, Philosophical and WMG

If one chases after a goal recklessly,
it will most cetainly evade persuit.

Take for example, a butterfly.
It rarely flies a straight path.

How many times has it escaped your clutches?

One must use patience.
One must be silent.
Before the butterfly will land.

I know what it is like to desire something.
It’s like the proverb says:

It’s like grasping at sand.
The tighter you try to hold on,
the more it slips through your fingers.

Turn your palm to the sky.
Lift slowly.
Take care.

Remember, do not close your hand
to make a fist.
Or, you will be forced back to the beginning.

Thanks Celene. Just passing time on my lunchbreak at work.
This is something I’m really trying to work on.
    I’ve become extremely impatient, lately.
I’m trying to take it slow & engage the flow

This is really fine work Dwayne – wonderfully done actually! Inspiring, uplifting, hopeful – patience is a virtue I’m not all that good at – but you inspire me to try!

I love this. It is inspirational and reflective that it is always harder to let go than to hold on.
Well done, very well done indeed.
I enjoy your style of writing. You have a great “voice”.
