What do we tell our children?
As a boy, I remember hearing
stories about: acid rain, killer bees,
melting ice caps.
As a man, I hear stories about:
peak oil, economic instability,
and the melting ice caps.
Time passes and the picture looks much less like a blissful summer scene.
Each day I hear more about the storm clouds building.
Mother grows tired of those who do not listen.
Feel earth beneath your feet.
Her pulse will soon fill you.
Pandora closed the box,
with hope kept safely inside!
Tell the children to use only what is needed.
Tell the children each one plays a part.
Tell the children to share new ideas.
Tell the children to believe.
