Morocco a memory

When Joy divided itself into segments and sold itself to sin, when I saw you and you were a star in the heaven of my thoughts, I would walk wearing velvet and breathing gently, the faint smell of a curry scented breeze and the sight of the brass and the tajines ,the exotic heady nights, you could be everything and you could say nothing , yet your presence was strong, the shimmery silken curtains the veiled dancing women, the snakes in your path and the music drowning out your smile, in the distance the souks the traders with their tethered camels, the awe of it all, we walked enjoying Morocco with its awesome landscapes and its graceful beauty and tall green verdant palms, with cacti under shaded roofs of dust plaster out buildings, no time here no clock ticking no one to arrange or plan for you,a forgotten place distant majestic north african beauty, the sanded dunes fell away and you could see a number of strong Barb horses in the distance, the light is failing now and its time to head back to the authentic hotel and smile quietly locked in each others gaze our sun kissed faces and glowing skins warm in the Agidir heat, cooling now though and time for the night life and to wind down sitting on comfy large squares and sipping liqueur a kiss for each other and to watch the sun go down together like a molten disc dipping behind hte horozon and melting in the sea-ahh Morocco I will Return!
