As much as we put up borders or try to divide this land that we live in, it will always be futile under the everlasting forces of nature.

When were you in yorkshire and not think to visit me?!!! Love the atmosphere in this!
Thanks Mindy. I was over for Christmas and Sandsend is a place I’ve been to many a time and will keep on going back to.
really beautiful Paul … very dramatic … ghostly and haunting. The sea can be so beautiful, calm and serene but the force of it when it turns can be catastrophic and this image really shows this … gorgeous!
Hi Deb and thanks so much. The sea up in North Yorkshire certainly does have some power as I’m sure you are well aware! Up in Sandsend a large sea wall was built to protect the town, but it’s great to see the remnants of the old sea defences still standing… even if on their last legs!
Lovely long exposure work there Paul….lovely image!
Thanks Carmel. :-)
well next time you visit you know where I am ;)
Thank you Graham.
Very Nice Paul. Your long exposure Photos are looking great. Really makes me frustrated I dont live closer to the sea…!!
Cheers Ian. Well I was staying in Nottingham last summer when this was taken, so not too far from Brum – always worth making the effort to get to the coast for the weekend for great spots like this.
Impressive,moody image.You can’t beat B&W.
Thank you Carla… B&W is always a favourite of mine.
Aloha Paul, it is a beautiful image, so lovely in monotone
Thank you so much Sharon and thanks for the Feature. Very much appreciated. :-)
Thanks as always Scott. I always appreciate you stopping by.
