I’m usally jumping on my journal entries with enthusiasm, joy and vigour…

But today I can’t help feeling muted as I watch on TV the tragic events unfold half way across the globe in the homeland of many of my good friends here on Redbubble. The huge devestation and the heartbreaking effect on many families just leaves me at a loss…

However, at times like this I am always inspired to see how people can pull together and set about into action. In a time of tragedy and in a time when the whole world seems to be in a depression, good news can spread just as fast.

I’ve just read Rhana Griffins Journal Entry highlighting her cause, to donate all of her artists proceeds for the month of February to the Red Cross Victorian Bushfire Appeal To match this, the good people at Redbubble have also offered to match this donation dollar for dollar.

But it doesn’t stop there… this is also open for any artist to donate their proceeds from any sales in February to the appeal, Redbubble again generously matching each donation pound for pound, dollar for dollar, euro for euro…

I will be dropping Redbubble an email at the end of the month to offer any proceeds that I can muster… why not take a look at Rhana’s Journal Entry for full details and do something good today.
