This is so good! The simplicity…the off centering of the whole vehicle..
the bold colours and the desperation that I feel here…highly impactive!
Gets the point across loud and clear saying: “get me the hell outta here.”

Using satellite obviously to access redbubble!!! Love the “no tyre tracks” image – gives a real feeling of isolation.

awesome capture, would work well in advertising for that landrover, or for men’s inability to ask for directions.. not in your case of course….!!

lol@Rebs comment : ) Great shot paul. Is this with the new camera? Looks like you’ve figured out how to turn it on then haha Great job x Oh and btw, there is a nice beach just near me. If you ever fancy going for a paddle just pop round ; ) x

Thanks Rebs… and yeah, you are right, I’m never afraid of asking for directions… Infact I was asking for lots of directions that day.. “Oh God, where the hell am I?”

Thanks Claire for the comment and invite.. funny you should say that, as I just happen to have a ticket to Vancouver sat beside me.. I’ll bring the beach balls! :-)

lol@beach balls! How’s March do you…maybe the 14th? it’s as good a date as any ……pencil me in : )
Paul Tupman in reply to Claire Armistead’s comment, 5 months ago
Funny you should say that once again Claire… my ticket actually says March 14th! Guess I’ll be pretty inactive on here again with all that fun to be had on the beach!

Loving the reipples in the sand. Looks like the tide’s been out for some time to leave them like that! The shadow on the hump of the dune is very eye catching and the leaning of the 4×4 to one side adds to the feeling of the rough terrain.
Also like the gradient of blue coming down from the sky

A photographer who can handle sand driving as well as a camera is a talented guy:-)...nice work Paul.
We have crossed the Simpson Desert (178,000sq km’s) cross country, west to east and south to north…awesome experience.
In South Australia beach and dune driving is allowed with100’s of km’s of awesome coastline, an absolute ball, so long as you watch out for the tides…many 4wd’s lost by badly prepared drivers.

beautiful scenery and light. very impressive. at first I thought it was in the middle of a desert .. it makes the coolest car ad
Paul Tupman in reply to RSart’s comment, about 1 month ago
Haha.. thanks RSart.. I guess my subtle humour in my description must have been lost on you.. actually I live in saudi at the moment and this is in the desert! Thanks for the great comment! :-)
