Interior & Furniture Design by...
In my line of work I see many different buildings born from concept through to completion. It is always a joy to watch your vision grow from the bare bones of the structure to the finished building and I am always fascinated by every stage… even at this naked stage.
I had to re-think my last upload for the Challenge Cafe, and I’m kind of glad I did. An unscheduled site visit to a current project and I’m done…

Love the comp, and the light is wonderful. Great eye and wonderful ability to turn what would seem like junk to one into art for another. Well done.
Deborah Parkin
i love the order in this and its simplicity in design – great use of shapes and lines – cylinder, rectangle etc – just brilliant and on top of this the light if just fantastic – it seems you are never stuck for ideas and inspiration. Looks great with the black frame too.

WOW. This…..is good!!
It doesn’t compare to your bedhead shot (heheh) but as
far as the quality of this shot, it’s outstanding! You’ve mastered every
every of this photo. Well done. ;)

Fantastic, Paul. Love how all the elements fit together!

Quit the camera job now Paul. You’ve mastered the feng shui interior designing a treat. Find some rich bloke to rip off with this and you’ll be able to get that Aston Martin outright I tell ye.
Love the light on the floor and the textures and tones of your armchair – Fantastic stuff
Paul Tupman
Thanks all for the comments.. and Stuart, actually I am an interior architect and furniture designer – hence the title linking with my name on the print.. and that’s what I’m doing out here in Saudi – ripping off rich people! I was hoping to give that up one day to take up this camera game during the day! Haha!

Paul, its official….your photographic talents are on a par w/ your furniture design talents. Just taken a peep at your “other life” and you have some fine work. What an annoyingly talented fella you are! oh and yes, this one rocks

Thanks wellman and glad you like my other work.. I appreciate you stopping by to take a look at my “other life” and work outside of the bubble.. it’s getting harder and harder to balance out the 2! Thanks again to every one else for commenting and to Paul Vanzella for picking this out of a great bunch of work for runner-up in the Challenge Cafe.. :-)

Now THIS, I love….even though it’s still obviously a building site, it has more for me to lock my eyes onto, and of course I’m able to recognise the various elements. ( I am a little lazy in that respect) Wonderful framing again, and really interesting light and shade.
