Life is Beautiful

Thrilled at being asked to take some pictures for my friends who are expecting their fist child, I jumped at the chance and suggested something a little different to the shoot they may have been thinking of having at home…
Shot out in the desert, west of Riyadh, Saudi Arabia on an overcast and windy day… work in post processing, sat in my warm house on an even more overcast and windy day… winters here!

I love the composition, awesome, but the PS work is a bit heavy handed. It LOOKs llike you cut her out and pasted her image onto an out of focus sand dune. Her feet and the bottom of her dress are cut off – why?

The black dress make this for me. You could have put her in white and made it angelic but I think the black gives off a rather nurturing highness and majesty instead of a fantasy appeal. I love these shots of her. Absolute beauty!
