Lemon Days
When asked by hdphotos if I could find another 3 shots from my last series I wasn’t going to pass up on the challenge! It was quite a difficult setting to get some good shots.. dark lighting and a cramped environment, due to all the people clambering into a tiny section of the pub to see the band.. but I managed to turn it all to my advantage! Another 3 for you…
Anyway, please go and check out the brilliant hdphotos as well as the band, Geist Apart from the fact my brother plays in the band and that they are pretty damn good, you may also recognise a couple of shots on the page!

The lighting’s incredible. I like the way this one shows the band’s name on the drumkit being shown almost as an introduction to the picture

fantastic shot Paul – i love the way the light glows and has an almost ghostly feel and i really love the way the golden tones literally sit on top of the darkness – i also like the way Geist is so clear and the composition is just brilliant – i bet this was a difficult shot to achieve and you have done it wonderfully.

Fantastic, love the those beautiful warm light tones and the perspective is great, listerning to them play as I type. Your brother has a wonderful unique quaility to his voice!
Thanks so much for the mention Paul, very kind of you!! :D
Paul Tupman
Thanks Stuart, Deborah and Heather.. really glad that you like the new additions. Heather, my brother, Neill actually plays guitar in the band and supplies some of the backing vocals.. it’s actually John with the unique voice! Thanks for listening! :-)

There’s a sweet glow to these shots. :)
Between the warm/hot light & the super black black..
it’s a terribly moody piece. I like it. :)
