Final Ray of Play
This is how I remember childhood… no playstations, gameboys or internet… just playing outside until the final rays of sun drew an end to the day… ok, ok, so I did have an Atari!

The “Tupman Effect” shines through again…..gorgeous reflection on the water – almost looks like the moon… You’re doing a bit of the “Parkin Effect” too – darkness without an ominous feeling..you too should collaborate on something!!

Fantastic, love the beautiful warm tones, the darkness and I can feel the warmth from the sunshine on the water and sand. Many memories of childhood days at the beach just like this, not wanting to leave!! :D

I do love your work Paul – this is just awesome – playful and free-spirited – a beautiful moment captured. The tones are sensational – warm, golden and inviting and the silhouette – that glance back as if there is more going on outside the frame – just perfect.

Thanks all for your comments and kind words as ever! Much appreciated.. and Naomi.. we will have to see if Deb would ever let me near her work! :-)

heheh…I had an atari too. (Gunslinger was my favourite.
And Night Driver…) I don’t know what you did to this, but it
heightened the mood even more. I agree with Deb, that glancing
back gives this a real sense of speed and motion, as if she’s
running off, and lingering also combined. Makes me wonder what
she’s looking at..who perhaps. (Did I mention I like to ponder?!)
I like the reddish outline around her..gives off warmth.
Another wonderful Tupper Ware. ;)

this is beautiful, I love the light and the softness, it really is the perfect image for the innocence of childhood, and nature!
