    I can hear it clearly – how peaceful and serene it is. Feels a million miles away from my life – I am here with a roaring fire (and still cold lol) and dark nights. Love the way you use portrait mode for your landscapes – always work so perfectly. Also love the way the mosque in the background makes this more than the everyday landscape.

    Thanks Deb… :-) Peaceful and Serene yes, but it is the end of the weekend here so all of the families were out along the sea front tonight and this was one of the shots I manged to get before a curious child kept coming over and peering into my lens during the long exposures! Hence, I called it a day!

    Thanks Simon. Never tried star trails before, but yes, when you are out in the desert here the night sky is amazing. I once tried some evening photography in the desert, but quickly found I had nothing to focus on! I’ll have to scout out some locations…
