My first outing with my camera in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia
As I stood knee high in the warm water of the Red Sea, watching as the sun rose, the air filled with the sound of the call to morning prayer.

Well well well, Mr Weatherman’s been up to his knees in warmer climes, directing the clouds and water with a swirling tripod before setting it down to present this beauty.
Nice selection of rocks to break up the water and the light on them is just inspiring. (An unusual for me) choice of backdrop to the seascape scene too makes for a very interesting shot and nicely positioned.

Yep, it’s true, I had to bring the sunshine back with me although I couldn’t quite manage to direct any clouds into fruition this morning but the rocks made up for that.
As for the mosque… well like they say; “When in Rome…”

Thank goodness for Facebook Paul – I totally missed this one and it is spectacular. I love the colours and the exposure – it is truly an exotic image. I love how it is a landscape that could be taken anywhere but with a twist with the architecture in the background. What a great juxtaposition.
