Divided
Taken just round the corner from the frozen Lake Louise in Alberta, Canada on our recent road trip through the Rockies…
The trick was not to get too close to the cracks in the snow… or at least not to be caught out on the wrong side of them as they went floating off down river!

That’s much better advice (don’t stand near the cracks in the snow) than don’t eat yellow snow (I mean someone may have dropped a banana milkshake).
Death defying feats aside, glade you got close enough with taking a moving shot down the river. The slivers of ice in the water hold well and the reflections of the trees also come out within them well.

Another stunning shot of nature… love the clouds, they provide an over all sense of grandeur, and as always the black and white is classic, great piece… it definitely looks cold.

Beautifully artistic capture.

I think what i love most about these images Paul has to be the river – it is so black and despite its beauty looks so cold and so uninviting. You can literally feel the coldness. I love the perspective too – love how the mountain actually looks quite small against the trees – which I am sure it isn’t :).
Another beautiful image in which you really capture the feeling of the environment beautifully.
