Raw!
I couldn’t wait any longer to upload this!
Part inspired to put this up now by Deborah Parkins upload yesterday, Boy and also by a thought that the “Extremely Positive” groups’ daisy painted minibus would have driven right by my portfolio, shying away from the darkness and gloom, I thought that I would show I can do a bit of fun too!
Anyway, I absolutely love this photo, and its a good job Claire does too! Taken at the frozen edge of Lake Louise in Canada, we had just come from walking out across the ice, taking in the fabulous glacial views… that is, when I’m not shoving my camera in Claires face! They say that you can tell from the shot, the relationship between a photographer and model… I think this says a lot!
One from many, this was at the point where I had got up to speed with the direction and simply said, through bursts of laughter, “Roar at the Camera”
Uploaded as is from the camera… the picture says it all!

I love this Paul – there is so much feeling of freedom and great expression. I can the free spirit in Claire which is fantastic (so good that it wasn’t lost to childhood like so many of us allow to happen). A brilliant capture in every way – and great hood :)
Thanks for the link and so pleased it inspired you to put up this great portrait :)

It is a great pic Paul, and as well as good art, it oozes fun. I can’t help but see a surreal side in that, by the way Claire is looking at you, that you are stuck in your camera.

Great story behind the shot Paul. I always like to read them in detail first you know. (just in case I need to determine the sex of a cow or something similar to avoid posting anything stupid)
I can see the inspiration from the lighter and brighter new look Parkin and i’m sure Canada can give the north of England a good run for its money in the negative temperature stakes!
Great from the camera picture too (I don’t think i’ve ever had one i’ve not had to edit 1st!)
