Here are some stories and other bits that I have written. Please have a read. I like truth: what do we really think? I like magic showing itself to us when we least expect it. It’s there. It really is. Why shouldn’t we see it? Oscar Wilde declared that he couldn’t think other than in stories and I feel that too sometimes; for that reason you will find a number of retellings of myths, legends, fairy tales and history in amongst my scribbles, mostly inspired by seemingly separate events in my life.

I come from Newcastle and now live in Woking via a decade in London. I have a lovely partner and three children who amaze me every single day. After nearly two years on RedBubble, experimenting and honing, I am now slowly but steadily having my journalism and creative writing published and made available to a wider audience.

The final thing to say is that I believe in freedom of speech and freedom of expression. We don’t all think the same way and I think the world would be a very dull place if we did.

I am listed with Katie Robinson’s excellent project Pink Noise and can be found on Twitter too.

The very talented Elisabetta Trevisan has honoured me by using my face for her painting of Ophelia. Please have a look! / This has been a very interesting experience for me combining feelings of delight at having my face used for such a beautiful picture and feelings of being distinctly unsettled at it being Ophelia. I do want to write about this properly but right now I have to jump in my car wi…
