Abiqua Falls · Abiqua Creek · Scotts Mills · Oregon · USA
Abiqua Creek free-falls 92 feet from the lip of canyon walls forged of basalt columns beautifully stained brick-red and green by lichens and mosses, respectively. Yellowed by the cumulative heat and aridity of late summer, a shock of moss tops a massive boulder residing at the lip of Abiqua Falls’ plunge pool, the color change presaging the change of season to come.
