One of the more ironically named natural features in the area, Dry Creek and its 75-foot namesake falls forms the western bookend of a 1.7-mile stretch of the Pacific Crest Trail opposite Pacific Crest Falls at the eastern extreme. Now serving as a convenient footbridge, a derelict weir just downstream from this vantage point spans the very un-dry creek, once harvested as a source of municipal water for the town of Cascade Locks.

Great composition, and i like that due to the CPL you can see some stones shining through the silky water, a strong image!

  • Thank you very much, Bernhard…and to think I once shot without a CPL…indispensable!
