Another angle on this enchanting falls, behind seemingly immovable moss-laden boulders that on a geologic time scale belie the dynamic nature of this canyon.

Did you slip getting to this vantage spot?

  • Haha, perhaps not to get to this particular spot, but it was quite a slippery scramble all the way up!

Lovely shot. I really like the glow of the green. :o)

  • Thanks, Zoe. The soft backlighting and deep shadows really helped enhance the glow effect here.

So beautiful Tula ~ particularly the abundance of moss …. such a gorgeous vivid green!!!!

  • And this is fall, Sharon! Wait till the moss really gets going in the spring! Not sure I’ll be able to scramble back up to this place, though, as the water will be running high. Thanks for the comment and fave! :)

Wow those rocks make this fall look almost unapproachable. That’s some rough looking terrain, beautiful colours though.

  • Thank you, Victor. It’s a rough scramble, for sure, but you can bypass this jumble to the left or right and get to a more open view of the falls (as shown in the other links). It’s a fun climb with lots of rewards all along the way.
