Feels like it’s been a while since I did a form and texture shot rather than my usual scenics. This patch of Oregon wood sorrell (Oxalis oregana) seemed like it would lend itself well to this when I spied it, and thankfully the wind was cooperating at the time of capture. Wood sorrell is also known as sourgrass for it’s übertart taste when chewed.

    Love this! The tones, the ‘sublimelight’ and the repetition and sense of abundance is wonderful. There is a tactile quality to this that is just beautiful! Great work!
