How do I express what is in my heart?
The words you spoke today cut through me
My heart shrunk at the sound of your voice
Tears welled up in your eyes, you blinked to hold them at bay

My hand reached for you
My arm wrapped lovingly around you
How do i express what is in my heart?

The words escape me, my throat tightens and constricts
as i fight back my own tears that threaten to spill across my cheeks
a single drop catches and glints on my eyelash before
sliding gently down my cheek
I allow it to travel its natural course
As i must do with you
Just remember my dear sweet friend I am and always will be
here for you.

I sit in silence,
my heart breaking with your pain and agony
My mind wonders to the love that surrounds me
My heart aches to spend the silence with those I love
No words are necessary, just their loving touch
the warmth of their presence

I long to see your smiling faces, your eyes that glow
with your warmth.
I must take this time to remember I am surrounded by love
cherished and adored, despite my human faults
my heart breaks with the love that touches it each day
My heart breaks for your pain

Words are not enough at this time
I know my silence is required, and yet Inside I cry out in agony
Just know my friend I am and always will be here for you

The love that surrounds me begins to grown enveloping you and yours.
I cannot express in words what is in my heart so I shall
show you with actions how much our friendship means!
Let my love lift you, carry you and support you!
