For Parents at Christmas ( can you relate?)

For all parents at Christmas. How many of you can relate?

Little one has been so very busy with choir concerts, student counsil meetings, helping the younger students with their christmas parties, homework etc. So needless to say she is starting to get tired and slightly cranky. So last night at bed time I sat her down and chatted with her about attitude and being good because Santa is watching ( which procceeded to make her sing a xmas song) and then she said yeah but how can he watch all of the kids? thats alot of kids mom. So i said well you know that Santa has alot of elf’s to help and what they have started to do is to call all the parents once a week while the kids are in school, to check up on if the children are being naught or good and if they are being respectful to their parents teachers and friends. I then said.. thinking i was being smart… “Last time I talked to Santa he gave me his phone number and said if she’s really bad call me right away and we will change her status on the Naughty or Nice list”

So her next question was…. ok whats Santa’s phone then mom ( half heartedly believing me) I replied with a muffled chuckle… 1-800-Ho-Ho-Ho. She said yeah right mom! So I started to move her from my lap so i could get up to call Santa, which caused her to squeal and laugh and say NOO mom!! Stay away from teh phone!! Don’t call Santa!! lmao well as you can probably tell i was almost bent over with laughter at this point! lmao. She wrapped herself around me giggling away and said between giggles ” I’ll be good mom I promise ! lol. Laughing the entire time!.

So i tucked her into bed, kissed her forehead, snuggled her favorite teddy under the covers with her and turned out the lights.

So this morning I figured i better check what i had said and to my surprise i found a site called Tel-a- santa. com lol. ( see the pic below) so a story that was fabricated to make her giggle and behave has some validity to it lmao. thank goodness she’s not so mature yet that she doesn’t believe in ole saint nick
