i stretch reaching for the wall above my head
my legs stretch in the opposite direction,
my toes curl, my fingertips touch the wall.
The sheets are cool beneath me, light slowly seeps in between the slates of the window cover.
I can sense the heat beginning its descent upon the world, but for the moment i am secure in my cool bubble of shaded light.
I curl up on my side, my pillow soft and fluffly beneath my head, the sheets tangled between my limbs, but for the moment i don’t care.
All is quite, the house is silent, I do not have to rise, the alarm is sleeping not to ring for a few more months.
My eyes flutter shut, a smile touches my lips, as i drift off back to sleep. enjoying the first morning of holidays.

Thanks honey. three more days then i can really relax. but at least school is now out and i don’t have to get up so early.. not that i can sleep in lol. i’m an early riser. I can’t wait to get out with the camera in the new location :)

lol i’ve always been like that honey lol. try as i might i Just can’t seem to sleep in. to used to rising early for work and child lol. maybe when she’s grown and i’m retired i can sleep lol
