Have you ever been so drawn to something or some one in an artistic manner that you feel that compelling urge to go back again and again??
This was exactly my experience with ” multicultural Society” I was photographing a school fun day and I had noticed this silent woman simply sitting in a chair, quietly manning the bubble station. At first i simply smiled said hello, how are you? and continued on, but for some strange reason i felt compelled to go back to her again and again. I’d be at another station snapping away and i’d find myself turning to see if she was still there. I must have wondered back in her direction at least a dozen times. Each time quietly and discretely photographing her.
She is an older woman of the last generation, so perhaps it was her quiet confidence and aura that drew me to her. Perhaps it was her clothing, or perhaps it was just her very presence. I shall never know but I must say i enjoyed photographing her.

Yip im feelin drawn to this pic and all that surrounds it tuffie … almost being magnetised … i know whats doing it … your getting confused with the term ’ tall dark stranger’ ... your lucky stars suggest that you will meet an older tall dark stranger and this is why your drawn to this old and pleasant lady … but me thinks the medium meant ‘a man’ ... approx 6ft 2” dark hair, brown eyes, full of carisma and possibly Irish … ring any bells … roflmao

I was drawn to an elderly man in Puerto Rico this way. my travelling partner snapped a pic of he and I chatting that I was unaware of. Other than that, I must say its certain places that I cannot get enough of.
Your photo here it very captivating.

Totally – I took about 70 shots of the man in my picture ‘Mind, Body and Spirit’. He just had such an amazing presence. I can look at his picture now and it brings the feeling right back. Very special.

Multiculturalism, I don’t believe in. I think it will be the ruination of all cultures where only the most fanatic will survive but I do understand you being drawn to a particular subject without any understandable reason.
Brillant shot !!

Thanks Peter. I think multiculturalism is part of what makes Canada so unique :) I have no idea what drew me to her but i like the end result :)
