Instinctive Memories
My body remembers
It twitches, jerks
Muscles stretch, and clench
This feeling begins in my very soul
The heat builds, winding its hot tentacles throughout my insides
My belly burns, my legs stretch
My arms clench and ache
Memories fill my very being
Thoughts of caresses, tenderness, long ago love
The feel of your breath on my neck, your arms embracing me
The memory of your tender kisses, your soft touch, the warmth of your body so close to me
Memories my mind tries to forget
But my body cannot
My body , my very soul yearns for your touch
Your embrace, your warmth
The heat builds, muscles begin to tremble
Hot tendrils of need swirl within me
Reaching, grasping , demanding
This feeling builds upon itself,
Muscles begin to tremble
My mind cries out “No! Do not remember”
My body will not listen
Every inch of my very being rebels against my mind
My soul cries out for you
For your touch, your caress, your love
I sigh and give in
I blindly reach for you
My fingers grasp only air
You are not there, where I need you to be
I cry out in desperation, where are you?
My mind jolts, my heart skips a beat
I look desperately for you
I cannot find you
You are no where to be found
I collapse against the sheets
My body is damp with perspiration
I fight to catch my breath
Gasping for air, I cannot breath
You are gone, lost to me
Slowly my mind begins to clear the fog
My surroundings begin to become clear
I am in my bed
The sheets tangled about me
The darkness envelopes me
It was only a dream

Hey Linaji,, aww thank you.. snappy nagged me into posting a piece last nite and then i just couldn’t stop lol… started writing and it just flowed lol. i’m so glad you like it. each peice is from the heart.. made me all emotional last nite lol
