Eagle Greeting
The male is on the left and the female is on the right. Empty nest. This is the first time I’ve seen the mated pair together. They lovingly brushed up against each other in mid-air to greet each other before hunting

Eagles mate for life…I watch them a lot, and marvel at how loving they are towards one another. I often see gestures of affection. They also like to talk to each other. You have uploaded some very interesting images recently.

i was fascinated by their gentleness towards each other even in the air. As the male flew in she started talking to him and he replied in return! thanks David i’m so glad you have enjoyed them :)

How I would love to have magnificent birds like this living around here. At least I have you to take photographs of them Kelly, so in a funny sort of way I guess I am lucky.

these guys are so beautiful and magificent to watch! i’m loving watching the babies grow and am saddened that we may have lost one of them ;( i’m keeping my fingers crossed that the other baby will show up. i’ll be checking as soon as i can on them once again. In the mean time i have people watching for signs of the second one. I’m glad i can bring these beauties to you my dear :)
