Artist's Description

We lost dear sweet Bundy today, he came to us last Easter 09 after being lost for two weeks, some people had been feeding him until they saw him get attacked by a fox and then they took him to the Vet who contacted us. He was so thin then but we fattened him up so quickly into the fluffy cuddly boy we loved for 10 months. But recently he had become very lethargic and thin and wasn’t eating and two weeks ago he had blood and urine tests done and they found he had a high white blood cell count which meant Leukemia or Bone Marrow Disease and nothing could be done for him. He was still getting about but had stopped eating entirely and when he stopped drinking a few days ago we new the end was near. The thought of him going into Organ Failure when I was not here was too much to bear so Michael and I took him to be euthanized today and it was very difficult for both of us. Bundy is the first ferret we have lost to illness and we will miss him terribly. This Portrait of him will be purchased on Canvas and hung on our Memory Wall next to Farken. Goodbye my beautiful sweet boy.
