I like to think that I got my other half, fellow Red Bubbler Mick Smith into photography but I was only into photographing the children and grandchildren, and now he takes most of the pics and I go along for the ride. You Tube fanatic, esp uploading videos of my ferrets. My first ferret was called Farken, the light of my life (don’t tell the kids). Sadly, Farken went missing in April 2008 at only 18mths of age. I made a dedication to him called The Farken Movie I then learnt how often ferrets get lost, they have a natural curiosity, an ability to escape and no homing skills. Not many people want to take on a baby ferret, let alone an adult one so now I only take in rescues. I currently have 4, Frodo, Fanny, Baba and Penny. We lost Bundy in Jan 2010

Also madly into music, esp that of Mike Oldfield, favourite album Tubular Bells which I first heard when I was just 12 advertising the Exorcist Movie and asked Mum to buy me the ‘soundtrack’. Have had a very unholy fetish for Jesus looking hippies ever since. Ommadawn
Also love newer bands like Cold Play, the Gorillaz, the Disocciatives and many more. Love to play cards and boardgames, go dancing, socialising with friends and family, writing, nature, bushwalking, my sons, my man, my grandchildren, my furry friends.

Would like to learn about Michaels camera and how to take better photos and be more creative with it. Would also like to take up Poetry and short story writing, have written one poem in my life, and have written journal entries every day for as long as I can remember. Keen to learn better video editing techniques as well……….

Almost all of the photos displayed on my page will be taken by Mick Smith, those that have sentimental value for me or that Mick simply doesn’t deem worthy enough to display on his page.

My greatest passion is animals. I am starting a 30 day Vegan Challenge for the month of March 2011 and I hope to be able to continue with this lifestyle. Any health benefits will be an added bonus.
