Double vision - Floating 'Lighthouse'

A grey day in Liverpool, but clear and still. But it needed the red ship to give the scene a real lift. Does a double dose of the Liver Birds (atop the two spires) mean a double dose of good fortune for the City?

This is an awesome photo! The red ship sets fire to the grey tones. For some reason It reminds me a bit of Turner’s “The Fighting Temeraire”

  • Ian Ker replied

Thanks Brian. Turner didn’t use such brilliant colour, but he does use reflection well.
