This is the first in a series of pink peonies that were given to me by my Dad. He dug up all the peonies in the yard when my parents moved from the house I grew up in. I was not sure they were going to survive but they are thriving. Every year I look forward to the new blooms around Memorial weekend. Since they are so short lived and each one is unique, I enjoy capturing their beauty to share for years to come.
