Cowardice

Smells like the start of more to come. Jack Winston and The Morning Voters

Cowardice belongs to the following groups:

I’ve got a party to run,
There’s nothing new under my sun.
I’ve got a morning to face,
There’s nothing safe at your place.

I’ve got a historical duty of care,
There’s not enough land to share.
I’ve got a pitch to pace,
There’s nothing second about my face.

I’ve got a suit to wear,
There’s no way you won’t pay your fare.
I’ve got a colour to flash,
There’s nothing multi-cultural about my cash.

I’ve got a speech to make;
There’s nothing in my ideology below first-rate.

i don’t know about jack winston or care too much for politics, but there were bits in this which spoke to me.

I’ve got a morning to face,
There’s nothing safe at your place

sounds like lyrics to a song.

Hey PJ, I wanted to open Jack Winston with something a bit sparse and I think this is the first sonnet I’ve ever posted here so I’m real glad you like it despite not caring for poltics.
