Today I stilled myself
So tonight would move at a frantic pace
Today I turned off my idiot teeth
So tonight I could come to grips with this place

Today I searched for a film I’d seen
So tonight would seem like a kinetic dream
Today I misplaced a score I’d heard
So tonight I didn’t feel as absurd

Today I awoke to a crippled lung
But tonight I indulged at a frantic pace
Today I listened to what Sam Cooke had sung
But tonight his words were lost in the hours on my face.

The Idiot Teeth

Smells like a peice of cabanossi.
