Tolerance is the bigness that allows us to let others be happy in their own private way.
It is the vision that allows us to see from another’s viewpoint, and it is the generosity that concedes to another’s way.
Tolerance is a sympathy for a belief which is not ours, an acceptance of others for who they are.
Tolerance is the strength of mind that enables us to forgive, and the quality that enables us to love.
Tolerance is the bigness of our hearts that expresses acceptance, and the state of mind which allows for the human imperfections.
Tolerance gives us an undeniable strength for the courage to press on in times of hardship, and it gives us the courage to open our arms to friendship.

That is probably the best description of tolerance I’ve read in a long time. Nicely written.

I like this one. Tolerance is something I must practice at each and every day and most likely will be doing till the day I die. Tolerance is not an easy thing either because its counter-emotions always try to get the better of us. Tolerance to me, in my life, would definitely be like being born all over again…tolerance to me is a constant learning. These words of yours hit home with me when i read them, well written and an inspiration :)
