Mark, this is so very, very beautiful and makes me think of Wordsworth poem Seaweed. I therefore share it with you:
When descends on the Atlantic
The gigantic
Storm-wind of the equinox,
Landword in his wrath he scourges
The toiling surges,

Ever drifting, drifting, drifting
On the shifting
