One last song

the moon so bright,
reflecting off,
the razors edge,
I see him laying upon,
his bed of death,
Mozart calmed,
my addled mind,
even though,
I was just a boy,
my soul accepted the past,
showing me the future,
the blinds are close,
the sun refuses to shine,
as I peer,
standing on tip toes,
I see lady death,
walking down,
the narrow road,
alone,
she caressed my cheek,
but not for long,
for the blinds are closed,
church bells ringing,
choir singing,
the ravens on the steeple,
writing eulogies,
upon the wind,
as we prepare,
to bid farewell,
and sing his,
final song……………

One last song
