Don't worry everything will be fine?

I read of the death,
Of a great bard,
He wrote of his own demise,
In verse,
It was so real,
Even at seventy three,
The pen was stronger,
Than the sword,
A drunk,gambler,womanizer,
A genius,
Changed the literary world,
Turned it on its head,
And spinned it like a top,
Why would I mourn,
His memory,
It was so long ago,
A man,
I couldn’t,wouldn’t,
Ever know,
Imitation is the greatest,
Form of flattery,
Inspiration is divinity,
My eyes are sad,
For a stranger,
Who died so many years ago,
Reality is beautiful,
Filled with death,
As the ravens of Andernach
Are released,
For the muses of the world,
To seek and find,
A genius will live forever,
With the stroke of a pen,
He died as he lived,
As will we all,
Alone in our minds,
My sister died,
Ten thousand miles away,
Everything will be fine.
Don’t worry,
Echoes in my mind,
As I stare into oblivion,
With tear filled eyes,
And an empty pen,
No scraps of paper,
Just tears,
I will mourn forever,
Would the stranger even care?

It is a strange and powerful emotion to connect to one that has long left us and yet we mourn their passing and feed on the fragments of themselves that they left behind. A very moving write Rocky, emotive and visual as is all your writing. I really feel the sorrow that spills from your ink. Beautiful work.

A friend of mine once said Everytime a Poet writes s pieace of him dies. But when the muse comes back it will make you write once more even though it will be another death. We will mourn but I’m sure you will care.
