5 shot panorama taken from one of the viewing platforms that adorn the helix bridge, Singapore.
The bridge being a suspension bridge shakes and wobbles when people walk on it, not good for 20 second exposures.

it always sucks when you get to a place and there’s about 20 other photographers there too – all with tripods and all in the same spot. Made me feel like a real tourist and photo snapper. but there are some spots that just work. I’d seen a couple of shots from this bridge before but not very wide and certainly not stitched panos. having the 16-35 lens on helped but set this to about 20mm because of the distortion to the buildings out wide at 16mm. I would have taken 3 wide then a couple more up and down to make sure there weren’t any gaps in the image.
Don’t ever follow the crowd, look for the shot that nobody else is shooting and get creative :o)
There was another group taking shots along the esplanade of the Singapore ‘eye’ – I just kept walking tripod slung on shoulder… and found a much much better shot and angle and was there all on my own ;o)
