Mitre Peak - Milford Sound, NZ by

So the weather wasn’t the best when we got there – just before it started peeing it down and the sandflies were out in force. No snow capped peak, the tide was out – but this was probably the only opportunity for a shot at this location – I doubt I’ll be back any year soon.

Anyway – this was the result, and I’m quite please with this :o)

Always rain but I did have an image of the snow capped peak in Brilliant sunshine until a flood went through my house and ruined the photos.

I quite like your Mono version and perspective a very different take on Milford Dean

  • Oh no Kym! and yes this place can reveal different moods every day. The colours were quite dark and the transfer to mono made this pop with the texture and contrast in the foreground and the clouds in the sky. – Anyway – it’s not often you see a mono mitre peak – so this is my take on it :o)
